The LINC project is one of the largest Danish project regarding self-driving shuttles and brings together important players from municipalities, private businesses and universities to test driverless shuttles in a natural setting.
The project’s aim is further innovative development of public transport. By testing self-driving shuttles the project will gather operation and user experiences which will be used to develop intelligent and dynamic shuttle services with the purpose of solving the “first- and last-mile” challenge of public transport, and will prepare future urban planners for self-driving technologies. The shuttles will run test-drives at DTU Campus in the City of Lyngby and demonstrations in the City of Albertslund and Hersted Industrial Park in Albertslund.
